Welcome to John Peter Smith Hospital

 

As an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery intern at JPS you are part of a vibrant community of residents and fellows in Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Orthopaedics and Podiatry, Psychiatry, Pharmacy, Surgery, Ophthalmology, Geriatrics and Sports Medicine. The Main Campus is south of downtown Fort Worth in a historic neighborhood within walking distance of Magnolia Avenue and many of the city's most popular restaurants.

Food is available at several locations on campus. The JPS Cafeteria serves breakfast and lunch. It is located in the Main Hospital at 1500 S. Main St., lower level.

 

Café Express serves sandwiches, salads, snacks and drinks. It is located in the Main Hospital at 1500 S. Main St., lower level next to the Cafeteria.

 

Corner Spot Café serves sandwiches, salads, snacks and drinks. it is located in the Patient Care Pavilion at 1575 S. Main St. in the lobby on the first floor.

 

McDonald's is located in the Main Hospital at 1500 S. Main St. on the first floor between the orange, purple and green elevators.

 

Food Trucks provide late-night options at the northwest corner of Main Street and Allen Avenue.

The Resident Lounge is on the second floor of the OPC next to Academic Affairs.

TARRANT COUNTY HOSPITAL DISTRICT ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.98% PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $0.10.
